The Circle Of life

 

There is always something in our life that makes us inspired, creative and impressive. People say it is art that makes you free to think and also dream. For myself, I always thought it should be what makes you creative and inspired. Inspiration comes from what you are surrounded by, and what you connect your life to. I found art and my interests help me think about my future,connect my interests, and love what I am doing in my life. I appreciate above all what I am connected to.

MARY CASSAT

Mary Cassat, Woman in Black at the Opera, 1879: This is my favorite piece I have ever seen in my life. I felt an incredibly strong connection, mysterious feelings with this painting when I first saw it. The woman in the painting is so powerful and strong, it makes one feel so interested about her life, and to imagine yourself in her place. Her colors are so dramatic, it shows you the emotion the artist tried to express for the audience. Mary Cassat was not able to show that she was a woman painting in her time, and I could feel all the tension in her work; even hidden emotions.
